Lost in Space 1966 Mattel Switch & Go Playset Missile Rocket ORIGINAL Sears Only

Lost in Space!  Anyone over 35 and into science fiction just has to be familiar with the saga of the Robinson clan (and any nods to that lost traveler Robinson Caruso were purely intentional!) setting 'sail' for Jupiter in the then-future 1997!  And we don't know about you, but if we were John Robinson or Major Don West, we would have driven that HUMAN itty-bitty headed ninny, Dr. Smith out in the landing vehicle and dropped him off the highest cliff we could find!!  But then we guess the stories would have been a bit boring.  :-) 

One of the key collectibles to adorn any significant Lost In Space fan, has got to be the Switch 'N Go Play Set - made by Mattel and available only from Sears.  It can be seen in the 1966 Sears Christmas catalog and was available for $13.99!:
