Printed Valentine greeting, featuring the Cat in the Hat inside a heart whose edge is decorated with orange and white heart shaped doilies. Copyright lower left edge, 1955. We were told this was signed and inscribed by Dr. Seuss in ink, "with Very Best Wishes Dr. Seuss," at a May D & F autograph session, just before Valentine's day, 1976. But it was returned to us after submission to an authentication service - they claimed the ink was not "live". We're not experts in original autographs - we can tell you that we can find no other examples of this item. If it were a reproduction, you'd think there's be other copies. Anyway, it is being sold AS-IS as you see. We cannot guarantee the autograph or track it's history - so we're selling it as just a rare example of Seuss memorabilia.
