This listing is for a Disney Pin Mickey Mouse 2002 12 Months of Magic DS
State Shape - Nebraska. The pin shows Mickey posing next the state's
territorial shape. What perplexed us about this set is that the complete set
is only 47 of the 50 states. Apparently, Disney felt the need to shun the 3
states (at that time) that did not have a Disney store in them. Out of
curiosity, as of the time of this writing (2019), that number has dropped to
38 states. The three states "missing" from the set are North Dakota,
Vermont, and Wyoming. Oh, while we have you, don't confuse these pins with
other similar series. Each of these pins has a modern style Mickey in his
classic wear and measures roughly 1" each. The backs have a
"gold glitter" style pattern with a small square that contains the Disney
copyright plus "Made in China".
