This listing is for an original Tinkerbell
1960s Orthopter Flying Machine. We admit we had to do some research on
this one. When we bought this, we thought it was a kite! But it's
not. An orthopter, aka ornithopter, is "a machine designed to achieve
flight by means of flapping wings". An interesting idea - putting Tink's
image on such a contraption. But we're not sure if her flapping her arms
in the air is quite "Peter Pan Accurate"! She's probably smaller
than you'd imagine - she's about 20" long. An interesting
and hard to find piece of Tinkerbell memorabilia!
