Slim Window Box NASA.
This listing is for the very scarce, non-labeled, small window-boxed
version of Major Matt Mason, Mattel's Man in Space! These were sold at the
NASA space centers in Houston and Florida (Huntsville, Cape Canaveral) in
the late 1960's. The figures released in these boxes are the later,
black-strapped versions. The box has the word "Astronaut" printed in white
letters across the top, "BENDABLE SPACEMAN with Detachable Helmet" at the
bottom, and "contains parts made in Hong Kong" may be added on the bottom
or back as a sticker or stamp.
