All our Ideal Captain Action sets are 100% original - including the display figure. Expect a C7 - C8 figure with normal hair wear but no body breaks. Weapons in holsters will all have major melt marks from the plastics interacting with each other. Nice complete set with very minor melt marks/wear. Spurs are present on both boots (often missing). Typical "felt" on hat picking up lots of dirt. Some clean the "felt" off - we prefer to leave the hats as they are.Product History, General

The story goes that when Ideal created Captain Action, they created the box art with a red shirted Lone Ranger - as that was the way he was described on the radio show. They also produced the actual playset outfit dressed the same. When the TV show aired in color, they realized that version had the Lone Ranger dressed in a blue outfit. Hence, they changed the outfit and released a number of blue outfitted Lone Rangers - and changed the art on the Captain Action box to reflect this. The Blue Outfitted Lone Ranger was short lived and is hard to find.
This listing is for Lone Ranger - in second issue Light Blue outfit set (harder to find than the first issue). A complete set included:
