James Bond 1965 Gilbert Oddjob 12" Black Background Box Karate Outfit MIB
Listing is for a James Bond 1965 Gilbert Oddjob 12" Black Background Box Karate Outfit MIB.This listing is for an original James Bond villain - Oddjob! From the 1964 film Goldfinger! Oddjob came in a box with two variations - an orange background box that shows him in a white karate outfit with headband, tossing his hat directly at the viewer. The alternate box was a black background box showing him dressed in a black tuxedo suit - again, tossing his hat directly at the viewer. The contents of the boxes are the also varied dramatically - with the orange background box usually containing an Oddjob wearing a white Karate suit top (with crisscross threading) with black belt/ties, white loose-fitting pants, and a red headband. The alternate outfit - usually found only in the black background box - white Karate suit top with black ties/belt, black stretchy sweat pants, yellow scarf, and a red headband. We can only imagine that the powers that be at Gilbert changed the box art to more accurately match the contents. Please note that the "karate" chop mechanism is a poorly designed spring mechanism - these are rarely found to be working properly.
This is a standard "black background" variation box with the karate outfit with white pants!
