Addams Family Chas Charles Vintage 1951 Playbill
While a wave of "Addams" merchandise were released during the Addmas Family TV series run, there were some Addams Family collectibles put out beginning in the 1940s in conjunction with the New Yorker strips. In the 1940's and 50's, his macabre humor was featured on glassware, dishware by Atlas, movie posters, book anthologies, and cover artwork for various publications.
This is a vintage playbill from "Season in the Sun" - 1951. But who cares what it's for? If you've come to this listing, the thing to note is the nice cover artwork from Chas Addams of Pugsley pulling a naked lady along in his wagon while a man looks impatiently at the shinanigans.
