Painting is by the San Jose, California artist, Nick White (1943 - 2009).
A label verso indicates that the title is "Pokano Mt. Lake." Per the
artist's 9/15/09 obituary in the San Jose Mercury News, White was both a
studio and plein air painter. He formed the Plein Air group for the Los
Gatos Art Association in 2003. To paint "en Plein Aire" simply means to
paint on location, or outdoors.
