Bambi - 1942.  One of Disney's most heartbreaking films. Still very touching -  the loss of ....well...I won't ruin it if you haven't seen it!  The movie also has a ton of fun and playfulness as Bambi grows up and pals around with Thumper, Flower, and the gang!
