Disneykins
Created by the Louis Marx Toy Company from 1961 to 1973 - Disneykins are "hand painted by artists" plastic figures. They stand about 1" in height and there are literally hundreds of figures. They are exciting because of their very varied packaging formats - from dozens of different store displays; from carded to boxed; from lockets to postcards. Sold individually and in multi-figure sets with additional accessories. The limited distribution of some of the later items (along with the limited distribution of items sold solely in specific parts of the world) and unique packaging - makes collecting Disneykins a fun and exciting conquest to enter into!
