In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. But our topic of today won't take us back quite THAT far. Nor will it take us back to the beginnings of L & L (that's Laura and Louie to you uninitiated) - nor even L & L Collectables, for we started business long before there was an internet that anyone really knew about. Our story begins in November of 1999 (not that I'd remember the exact timeline as I write this in May of 2021 - but thanks to the wonderful internet archive known as the Wayback Machine, I have been brought up to speed). After selling for years at local (and somewhat local) shows and having a semi-regular presence in the long-defunct "Toy Shop", we decided to develop a website. Initially, we had intended to list and begin selling all our Star Trek wares....but that never materialized. This was our first attempted and it's pretty primitive. We'd soon move to a full blow e-commerce site. The Wayback Machine shows 115 saved entries for our site over 22 years. Prepare for a long stay while we do a write up on each and every one. Ha ha. Just kidding. Although we have to suffer the fate of reviewing each and every one, we'll just point out the highlights. Stay tuned!
