Board Game Pirates' Treasure Parker Brothers 1925

Listing is for a 1925 board game by Parker Brothers - Pirates' Treasure. The game is not dated.  The cover art is printed with both  chromolithography and half-tone lithography.  The logo is an early one found on Parker Brother's games from the 1910'-1920's. The game is scarce, it is not listed in the American Game Collectors Association catalog or the  Board Game Geek website. The box top reads "The Pirates' Treasure Game,  Burying the Treasure.  579.  Parker Brothers Inc. Salem, Mass. New York. London." The lower right corner of the box top has a sailing ship logo which reads " Made in Salem, Mass.  USA."

A complete game includes:
  • 1 dice cup
  • 2 original dice
  • 6 red playing pieces
  • 6 green playing pieces
  • 6 blue playing pieces
  • 6 yellow playing pieces
  • game board
The directions are printed on the underside of the box lid. The box measures roughly 12" x 10 3/4" x 1 1/2".

Item Condition (Specific)

Amazing condition. Set looks much nicer in person - with a nice sheen on it. Box has just the minimum of wear. COMPLETE. Hard to find.
