Disney Donald Duck 1934 Celluloid Whirligig Borgefeldt
This listing is for a Japanese, pre-war, Donald Duck Whirlygig that was distributed by George Borgfeldt. It is made of celluloid and tin and has a wind-up mechanism. When working, Donald moves forward and spins around. The whirligig contains a miniature Pluto and Donald. Toy sits about 10 1/2" high.
Toy works great. There is minor cracking in the feet on the base (this is incredbily typical as the celluoid is weak in that area and the weight of Donald makes it susceptable to damage). Original stamp still affixed to Donald's tummy.
