Pinocchio 1939 Puppet Show Boxed Whitman Scarce

This is a 1939 (the year the movie was first released) Pinocchio set. It's a pretty cool paper doll style cardboard "puppet show" - coming in a box that measures 10.5 x 15.5 x 1.25" by Whitman. The box lid doubles as the front of the stage. A complete set includes a cardboard story/script sheet and full color background scenes of streets and buildings. It also included 8 die-cut cardboard puppet figures - Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Geppetto, Figaro, Honest John, Stromboli, The Coachman, and Blue Fairy.
