For some reason, Disney just hasn't released many versions of Pinocchio as a Donkey from the Pleasure Island sequence. No statues, no dolls, no toy figures. As a wee child, this scene scared the wits out of me! It's still one of my favorites to date. In 1992, Disney made a brief departure from this policy and authorized the production of Pinocchio in mid-donky form - with long ears and tail. And they could not ever do better than allowing it to be rendered by the John R. Wright team. |
