Peanuts Schmid Music Box Musical 1973 Snoopy Pop Up

Item History (General)[Show/Hide]

Peanuts Schmid Music Box Musical 1973 Snoopy Sopwith Camel

In the late 1960's through the mid 1970s, Charles Schultz' Peanuts gang enjoyed a level of popularity and mass marketing that'd be hard for anything else to come close to matching, much less beating. Of all the items released bearing the likeness of the Peanuts characters, we have a real fondness for the musicals produced from Schmid and Anri. This is a SCARCE musical made by SCHMID in 1973. The main box is the familiar WWI Sopwith Camel with Snoopy in his usual role of WWI Flying Ace! As the music plays, Snoopy pops up and down to similate a 'flying' motion. It plays the 1970 Joni Mitchell song "Both Sides, Now." There's lots of Peanuts musicals out there - this is one you rarely see.
