GI Joe 1960s Acc. 1st Entrenching Tool wCover RIB RARE

As with anything mass produced over time, there were variations in the Joe line when it came to the Entrenching Tool that Joe used.  Althought most of his gear had minor variations in terms of style and copyright data, the E-Tool had a glaring change - a "ribbed" collar - used to lock and unlock the rotating blade into place.  Unique and produced for a very a few months in 1964, they are said to have been found solely on the triple TM carded accessories.  Among the scarcest of variations....your early Joe just isn't complete without one!
