For the last 20 years, one of the hardest TV personality holy grails has been the Ideal 12" Samantha doll from the Bewitched TV Show in an original box.

With the introduction of eBay, the collectibles market changed drastically....difficult items became common and many rare items became...not so rare.  No so with the Bewitched doll.  The boxed Bewitched doll has remained just as elusive as ever!!!!

Put out by Ideal in 1965, there are several things that make this doll stand out above others.  First, the box has a fabulous design - an inset box shows off the doll with a colorful and "bewitching" background design.  The outside of the box features pictures of the beautiful Elizabeth Montgomery, Samantha in the "Bewitched" logo type font, and the cute little animated Samantha riding her broom.   The doll's felt type red outfit is sparkly and attractive.  

Another thing that made this a special set was the fact that it had two cello pieces.  One is a clear band around the box which again features the Samantha type logo, the animated logo from the show's opening credits, and the words "pose her in many bewitching positions".  The entire box was then sealed. 

We have been collecting/selling TV collectables for over twenty years now, and this is the FIRST boxed Samantha we have ever had available for sale....in all that time, we have only seen about 4.

The condition of this boxed doll is very, very nice.  The box itself has great color but does have some pressure tears on the sides and some small crushing.   The doll is in unplayed with condition....color of dress is just beautiful.  Has original dress, hat, broom, and shoes. 

While the overall cello was missing, we were thrilled that it still had the "Samantha" cello band as it adds SO much to the appearance of the doll.  Doll has been resealed to protect it.  Other than the outer seal, this is 100% original!!

A great, great visually appealing and extremely scarce doll/collectible from TV's golden age!!
